Rubidium Frequency Standards AccuBeat's Rubidium Frequency Standards provide extremely stable frequency, at 10MHz or at other optional frequencies. The very high stability of an atomic frequency standard originates from an energy transition between two atomic states. All of AccuBeat's Rubidium products have a unique configuration. They contain a Digital Frequency Lock Loop (DFLL) with a unique algorithm to implement the disciplining of the crystal oscillator to the atomic resonance frequency. A microprocessor is embedded in the DFLL, with a unique patented algorithm. This algorithm reduces the sensitivity to external disturbances, allows easy lock at start up, and enables the implementation of a unique hold-over mode. This keeps the internal oscillator running with the last memorized frequency when lock is lost. These features make the Rubidium Frequency Standard a very smart clock. GPS Disciplined Rubidium Clocks AccuBeat's GPS Disciplined Rubidium Clocks comprises Rubidium Standards, GPS receivers and Time Code Generators/Readers, which offer the best performance, accuracy and reliability at affordable prices. A standalone GPS Receiver provides timing pulses (1PPS-one pulse per second) with very good long-term stability and accuracy, but due to high jitter, exhibits poor-short term stability. An independent Rubidium Oscillator provides a frequency signal with very good short-term and medium-term stability and a long term drift of 4·E-11 per month. A Rubidium derived 1PPS signal drifts about 1 micro–second per day. A combined GPS Receiver and Rubidium clock provides excellent frequency and time stability and accuracy – for the short, the medium and for the long term stability. The frequency stability of the combined systems is 2E-12 to 3E-15 and the time accuracy is in the ns range. A GPS Disciplined Rubidium Clock frees the user from being continuously dependent on GPS reception, particularly in cases of either intentional or unintentional GPS interruptions.
